Travel to the Maribor Theatre Festival for free

From 8 to 21 June 2026, visitors to the Maribor Theatre Festival can travel free of charge to and from festival events on city buses by presenting a valid festival ticket for that day’s performance when boarding.

This benefit applies to all lines of Marprom’s city bus network in Maribor — in both directions and at any time of day.

Through this initiative, Marprom, part of JHMB, together with the Municipality of Maribor, are providing a convenient, simple, and sustainable way to attend cultural events, while also helping to reduce traffic congestion and improve accessibility to the city centre.
