Closing ceremony

After two weeks of performances, international guest productions, exhibitions, talks, concerts, and a student programme, the 61st Borštnik Theatre Festival will bring this year’s festival chapter to a close tonight. The closing ceremony and awards presentation will take place at 8 p.m. in the Ondina Otta Klasinc Hall of the Slovenian National Theatre Maribor.

The final evening will be dedicated to the artists and theatre makers whose productions have marked this year’s festival, as well as to the announcement of the most distinguished artistic achievements in the Competition and Accompanying Programmes. For one last time, the festival will bring together audiences and the theatre community, concluding its 61st edition in a celebration of the art of theatre.
