Call for applications at Berliner Ensemble
The Berliner Ensemble is looking for young theatre makers to apply for the International Talent Program WORX 2025/26. We are inviting two artistic personalities with exceptional aesthetic or thematic concerns who will make the Berliner Ensemble their artistic home for one season.
Over the course of the season 25/26, they will be given the workshop space of the Berliner Ensemble, the Werkraum, to realize two productions each and also organise smaller events such as readings, performances or discourse formats. As part of the residency, they will be given the opportunity to collaborate with the ensemble and the dramaturgy department, as well as visit the rehearsals of directors closely associated with the Berliner Ensemble. At the end of the season, there is a showcase at which the works created are presented over a weekend to an interested audience, the press and theatre experts.
