Pandur’s Theatre: “Stay a while, you are so beautiful!”

To commemorate the tenth anniversary of his passing, the closest collaborators of theatre director Tomaž Pandur, whose artistic opus influenced Slovenian and world theatre, will discuss his recognisable theatre poetics, his audacity and passion for creating theatre worlds, and the changes he brought about in the Slovenian theatre space. Pandur entered the theatre in 1989 when he directed the cult classic Scheherazade at the Mladinsko Theatre. That same year, he became the artistic director of the Drama SNT Maribor. His productions, distinguished by his signature style, symbolism and mythological imagery, attracted a broad audience. Later, he worked on many European stages, among them, those in Hamburg, Madrid and Zagreb.
