Culture and Sustainability: Where We Are and Where We’re Going

The conference is the closing event of the project Green Step for Culture. It opens space for a meeting of creators, producers and cultural organisers, as well as everybody else interested in the importance of sustainability in culture.

Through presenting good practices, discussions and exchange of experiences, the conference will offer insight into sustainable orientations and ideas that are already changing the ways in which organisations in the field of culture operate, and into future opportunities for them. The focus will be on concrete approaches and solutions that are being created in the Slovenian cultural space, including the initiatives of the Ministry of Culture for the green transition, and can serve as an inspiration for further work. Those attending the event will learn about useful guidelines and ideas they will be able to incorporate, gradually and sensibly, into their own practices.
