Selected Works: Costume and Makeup / Costume: Project 1 and 2 (2013–2025)

The exhibition features a selection of works created during the Costume and Mask course, a regular course for students of Stage Acting and Theatre Directing and an elective for students of Dramaturgy and Performing Arts, as well as the elective course Costume: Project 1 and 2 attended by undergraduate students of all programmes of UL AGRFT, under the mentorship of assistant professor Tina Kolenik, professor Janja Korun and assistant Nina Čehovin. During the spring semester, the students selected a play, visual artwork or historical period and conceived a costume for their chosen character, searched for suitable materials and proceeded to create the costumes. At the end of their project, they created a set background, put on their costumes, embodied the chosen characters and took photos. The final results are the photos that were exhibited in several Slovenian galleries between 2013 and 2025. The retrospective exhibition of the selected works was prepared specifically for the 60th jubilee edition of the Maribor Theatre Festival. 

The exhibition is open daily during the festival.
