One Last Sleep is founded in childlike naïveté, expectations, promises and the incessant, fearless desire for tomorrow – because every tomorrow will simply be better than every today. Whatever today may bring, we’ll always have tomorrow. Whatever we break today, we can fix tomorrow. Whatever we lose today, we can find again tomorrow. One Last Sleep shows the tireless impetus of hope that the weight of today cannot stop in any way. But on the other hand, it is this empty hope, postponing empty promises to the day after that prevents us from stopping for a moment, calming down, looking around, remaining in the moment here and now, harvesting its yield and accepting it before rushing into the promising morning of the following day. All the experienced moments of the past were made up of fragments of planned and random decisions that in their intertwined or consequential organisation shaped our today, our tomorrow.
